Smartbroker AG is a modern financial services provider based in Berlin that has repeatedly provided significant impetus within the industry. For over 20 years, the company has been committed to enabling simpler and cheaper investment processing. We want to eliminate the hurdles in investing and promote people's financial self-determination. With FondsDISCOUNT.de, we created a web portal in 2004 that has become one of the leading fund brokers in Germany. Following this strategy, the company expanded its activities at the end of 2019 with the launch of its own brokerage offering, Smartbroker. With this unique online broker, Smartbroker AG successfully bridges the gap between the full-service offering of traditional online brokers and fee-free trading, which is unique in the brokerage landscape to date. In a very short time, over 200,000 investors have been convinced by the attractive offer. In August 2023, another milestone was achieved: SMARTBROKER+ was launched. An evolution of Smartbroker with many new features, a trading app, and a completely revised design. In total, the company now serves over 250,000 customers. In addition, numerous trade magazines have awarded Smartbroker and the FondsDISCOUNT.de service. At the beginning of 2021, Smartbroker Holding AG managed assets totaling almost 5 billion euros.
