SkiStar aims to create memorable mountain experiences as the leading operator of European alpine destinations. SkiStar AB (publ) is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Mid Cap segment. The group owns and operates alpine ski resorts in Sälen, Åre and Vemdalen as well as Hammarbybacken (Stockholm) in Sweden, Hemsedal and Trysil in Norway, and St. Johann in Tirol in Austria. The market share is 50% in Sweden, 30% in Norway, and 41% in Scandinavia overall. The core business is alpine skiing with the guest's ski experience at the center. The business is divided into two segments: Operation of ski resorts and Property development and exploitation. We think working with skiing and ski trips in a mountain environment is the best thing there is! Every winter, we have over 2000 seasonal employees and 400 permanent employees who work together with ski school, lifts, sales, finance, IT, e-commerce, administration, accommodation booking, property services, and marketing, among other things.
