About SIMV

The SIMV represents companies that manufacture and market medicines and diagnostics for companion animals and livestock in France. It is the common DNA of our entire industry, at the heart of numerous interactions. In order to contribute to the competitiveness of its member companies, the SIMV, which has 45 laboratories, defines its value creation through its activities: • Federate companies around common projects, • Anticipate in order to propose collective strategies in response to societal expectations (strategic watch), • Advise/train/inform its members in its areas of intervention thanks to a permanent team as well as a network of experts from the laboratories, • Monitor compliance with members' commitments, particularly in terms of ethics (Guide to good practices for communication, commercial practices, training in veterinary medicine), • Represent the positions of its members in its decision-making environment.
