About Silvera Silvera is Calgary's leading non-profit provider of affordable housing and services for people 65+. For more than 60 years, Silvera has provided safe, affordable housing for more than 2,320 Calgary seniors from all walks of life. We are Calgary’s largest provider of affordable seniors’ housing and the second largest in Alberta. Our 36 communities are located in all four quadrants of the city and offer independent living with a range of housing and support options for lower-income people in the “silver era” of their lives.
