About Shums Coda Associates

Shums Coda Associates is a building, fire, and life-safety consulting company established in 2006. The company's philosophy is rooted in its name: Shums, meaning sun or beginning, symbolizing the code expertise of the founding principals; and Coda, representing our focus on adding significant energy and information to the final stages of building construction and the permit process. Our services are designed to provide an end-to-end solution that enlightens and assists clients in expediting the construction of code-compliant structures.
