About SGAE

We are the Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE), a private entity dedicated to the defense and collective management of the intellectual property rights of our more than 100,000 members. We have existed since 1899 and, today, the repertoire administered by SGAE exceeds ten million musical, dramatic, choreographic, and audiovisual works. Our activity, focused on protecting and distributing remuneration to our associates for the commercial use of their works, not only benefits our members but also contributes to the protection of the extremely rich cultural heritage represented by our repertoire.
