About Sesc em Minas Gerais

The Social Service of Commerce (Sesc) contributes to the social well-being and improvement of the quality of life of workers in the commerce of goods, services, and tourism, their families, and the community in general. Our actions in the areas of education, culture, health, leisure, sports, social tourism, assistance, and environment are developed according to the vision of being an agent of social transformation in the provision of services with a standard of excellence and sustainability. We prioritize values such as ethics, excellence, transparency, commitment, and valuing people, their autonomy, and their diverse ways of thinking, acting, and feeling. In Minas Gerais, we operate in practically the entire state and have 35 fixed units distributed among services, accommodations, and health. And, for the municipalities that do not have this permanent presence, we travel through all regions of Minas Gerais with mobile units and itinerant events, bringing health services – OdontoSesc and MedSesc; recreation – Espaço de Lazer; and culture – mobile libraries, Minas ao Luar, and much more. We are a private, non-profit company, maintained by companies and employees of the commerce of goods, services, and tourism.
