Servier is an international pharmaceutical company headquartered in France, managed by a non-profit foundation. Its unique operating model always prioritizes patient well-being over profit, reinvesting all revenues into development, with over 20% allocated to research. Servier's goal is to continuously advance medical knowledge and improve patient access to effective therapies. The company operates in 150 countries and employs 21,400 people worldwide. Since 1992, Servier has also been active in Poland, manufacturing medicines here since 1997. The Servier production facility in Warsaw, Anpharm, produces nearly 100% of Servier's medicine packaging for one million patients in Poland, with 50% of production designated for export. Active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in all Servier medicines are sourced from the European Union. Since 2001, an International Clinical Research Center has been operating in Warsaw, one of the company's 15 such facilities globally. Since 2017, it has been responsible for conducting research in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Ukraine, and also oversees some projects in Georgia. From the beginning of its operations in Poland, Servier has supported and undertaken informational and educational initiatives, including scientific conferences, symposiums, and workshops for doctors and pharmacists. Servier Polska actively supports the scientific community through research grants. The company organizes free prevention and education campaigns: Servier for the Heart, Servier - Turn Off Cancer, and Forum Against Depression. Their aim is to disseminate knowledge about the prevention of chronic civilization diseases and encourage patients to undergo diagnostics. Currently, Servier Polska employs over 600 employees responsible for scientific research, production, and promotion.
