SENAI arrived in Goiás in 1952 with the construction of the pioneering Escola Senai GO 1 (now Faculdade de Tecnologia Senai Roberto Mange) in Anápolis. When it was established, under the Regional Delegation of São Paulo, Escola Senai GO 1 only taught the trades of fitting, mechanical turning, blacksmithing, electricity, and frame carpentry. The economic context of the State consisted of only a few hundred small and even fewer medium-sized industries. Currently, Senai offers professional training in various courses taught in the modalities of industrial apprenticeship, technical qualification, technological graduation, postgraduate studies, initiation, qualification, and professional development, in addition to providing technical and technological consulting services in various areas. As part of the System of the Federation of Industries of the State of Goiás (FIEG), Senai has kept pace with the advancement of the industrial segment, with permanent investments in the improvement and updating of its human resources and teaching environments, seeking technological innovation as a way to contribute to the competitiveness of industry and the development of the State.
