About Secours Catholique-France

Secours Catholique is a non-profit association established under the 1901 law, recognized as being of public utility since 1962. It has over 68,200 volunteers and 935 employees who work against poverty and for solidarity in France and around the world. As a service of the Catholic Church tasked with supporting the most vulnerable, the association is active throughout mainland France and its overseas territories. It also supports the implementation of humanitarian projects for populations in over 70 countries and territories, in conjunction with the global Caritas Internationalis network and other local civil society organizations.
