Seconci-SP is a philanthropic, non-profit organization founded in March 1964, serving the civil construction sector. With headquarters in the capital, Seconci-SP has outpatient units in all major economic centers of the State of São Paulo: ABC, Bauru, Campinas, Cubatão, Mogi das Cruzes, Piracicaba, Praia Grande, Ribeirão Preto, Riviera de São Lourenço, Santos, São José dos Campos, and Sorocaba. In 2013, 1.8 million services were provided, including medical, dental, examinations, and complementary and diagnostic support services. Seconci-SP maintains close relationships with the entire civil construction production chain, with over 5,000 client companies representing 200,000 workers. Since 1998, Seconci-SP has been qualified as a Health Social Organization (OSS) by the State Government of São Paulo and is responsible for managing the Itapecerica da Serra General Hospital (HGIS), Vila Alpina State Hospital (HEVA), Cotia Regional Hospital (HRC), Sapopemba State Hospital (HESAP), and Sapopemba Local Hospital (HLS), in addition to the "Dr. Luiz Roberto Barradas Barata" Specialty Medical Outpatient Clinics (AME) in Sorocaba and Caraguatatuba, the State Center for Storage and Distribution of Health Supplies (CEADIS), the State Diagnostic Imaging Service (SEDI) II, and the Health Service Offer Regulation Center (CROSS). In 2006, Seconci-SP qualified as a Social Organization by the Municipality of São Paulo, taking over the administration of four Outpatient Medical Assistance Units (AMAs) located in the eastern zone of the capital. Since April 2008, the entity has also been responsible for the administration of the Penha/Ermelino Matarazzo Territory, which encompasses over 40 Health Units, including Basic Health Units, AMAs, Psychosocial Support Centers (CAPSs), and Specialty Outpatient Clinics.
