SEBN ES (SEBN) is an automotive company belonging to the Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze SE (SEBN) group, dedicated to the design and manufacturing of electrical wiring harnesses for the automotive industry. The SEBN group employs over 39,000 people across various production plants and work centers in Europe, North Africa, China, and Mexico, with its headquarters located in Germany (Wolfsburg). In Spain, its activity began in 2001 as a customer service center in Pamplona, and subsequently, a development center was established in Martorell in 2012. Currently, its largest client is the VW Group with its various brands (VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Porsche, Bugatti, etc.), and it also works for Daimler (Mercedes-Benz Group). The company is currently strengthening its focus on the automated electric car market, for both its existing clients and new ones. Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze SE is part of the Japanese Sumitomo Electric Industries (SEI) group, which is one of the oldest companies in the world, with over 400 years of history. It was founded by a Buddhist monk who, after leaving his monastic life, transferred his understanding to business, embodying it in the principles of the "Sumitomo Spirit," which form the foundation of the organization.
