About Seaside Hotels

The Seaside Collection hotel group comprises a total of 12 exclusive city and resort hotels: in Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and the Maldives, and six city hotels in Hamburg, Leipzig, Dresden, St. Peter Ording and Chemnitz. All Seaside establishments are acclaimed for their prime locations, personalized service, and exclusive gastronomy, along with unique architecture and distinctive design concepts. The group was founded in the Canary Islands over 30 years ago by Theo Gerlach, who, at 90 years old, continues to personally lead his hotels. In 1997, his son Gregor Gerlach took over responsibility for the group's German division. And for some years now, his daughter Anouchka Gerlach has been responsible for the group's Spanish division alongside her father. The group is highly acclaimed as a benchmark for hotel gastronomy. In addition to the hotel industry, Seaside Collection Hotel Group actively participates in construction and gastronomy. Seaside Collection is recognized for its values as a company that strives to provide longevity for employees and its commitment to sustainable tourism. Theo Gerlach firmly believes that sustainable development will enable tourism to be the engine of economic prosperity. Initiatives underway at each individual hotel embrace these principles and remain his legacy for future generations. Investment plans incorporate renovations to maintain the hotels at an optimal level, along with the introduction of new sustainability initiatives to ensure a continuous reduction of environmental impacts, fostering sustainable development. Innovative future projects ensure a stable model of growth, professionalism, and service to its guests.
