Smoke-barbecue from Tennessee came to Philippines when co-owners brought smoked ribs after tasting their unique flavor. Scorched Smokehouse reopened March 8, 2019 as Charque Food Hub at Fusebox Lifestyle Center near UST in Manila. The 20-seat "hole in the wall" built reputation through word-of-mouth among UST students and doctors. Seeing first-to-market potential for smoked meats in Philippines, partners expanded. Scorched Smokehouse, Inc. officially registered with SEC January 28, 2021.
