About SCITON

Founded in 1997 by industry veterans Jim Hobart and Dan Negus, Sciton is an innovative, employee-owned medical device company that specializes in cutting-edge laser and light technologies. After leaving Coherent Medical, the world’s largest laser company at the time, Jim and Dan embarked on a mission to create a self-financed business focused on delivering superior quality and long-lasting results for both patients and medical professionals. At Sciton, we’re driven by a simple mission: to provide advanced laser and light-based solutions that solve complex aesthetic and medical challenges. Our technology empowers physicians to achieve consistent, high-impact results, while creating happier patients and more successful practices. As an employee-owned company, we are continually innovating and advancing our offerings to stay ahead of the curve. With a team that is dedicated to quality, excellence, and integrity, Sciton is proud to make a lasting impact in both the aesthetic and medical fields.
