About SaskPower

Since 1929, SaskPower has delivered power throughout Saskatchewan, serving over 550,000 customers. Our team of over 3,100 employees manages more than $13 billion in generation, transmission, and distribution assets. Our power sources include coal-fired stations (1,389 MW), hydroelectric stations (864 MW), wind facilities (617 MW), solar facilities (83 MW), natural gas stations (2,160 MW), import power purchase agreements (290 MW), and independent power producers (34 MW), for a total available generation capacity of 5,437 MW. Our network spans over 160,000 kilometers of power lines, 59 high voltage switching stations, and 200 distribution substations, with interconnections at the borders of Manitoba, Alberta, and North Dakota.
