About SANY América Latina

Founded in 1989 in Changsha, China, the Sany Group is dedicated to the production of heavy machinery, with main products including civil engineering machinery, paving, excavation, reach stackers, cranes, port and mining machinery. For 20 years, the Sany Group has achieved progress and success in its journey. It has ten factories in China, one in India, one in Germany, and one in the United States, in addition to implementing aggressive policies such as dedicating 5% of its annual revenue to research and development of new technologies. As part of its growth strategy, in 2012, Sany acquired the German company Putzmeister. The union of Sany's and Putzmeister's business areas formed the world's largest leader in concrete equipment. Currently, Sany employs approximately 40,000 employees in more than 150 countries. In Brazil, the Sany Group's trajectory began in 2007, when it acted as an equipment importer. The year 2011 marked the Group's consolidation in the country, with the announcement of investments of around US$ 200 million. In January of the same year, Sany inaugurated its first manufacturing unit in the city of São José dos Campos, São Paulo, for the assembly of excavators and truck-mounted cranes under the CKD (Completely Knock-Down) system, in a total area of 30,000 m². In 2012, Sany received the ISO 9001:2008 quality certification from the Fundação Carlos Alberto Vanzolini, guaranteeing the company's rigorous quality and safety process. In 2013, aiming for a new stage of growth, Sany began assembling RT (rough terrain) cranes and compactors at its manufacturing unit. At the end of 2017, we inaugurated our facilities in the city of Jacareí/SP. Sany has a network of distributors and its own branches ready to offer its products and excellent after-sales services in all regions of the country.
