Santana Textiles' journey in the textile world began in 1963 in Jaguaruana, Ceará, when its founder Raimundo Delfino decided to venture into the production of sleeping nets, a segment in which he was the national leader by the end of the 1970s. In the early 1980s, Fiação Santana was born, the first Brazilian industry in the sector entirely focused on the open-end process for cotton yarn production. In 1995, with Raimundo Delfino Filho already leading the company alongside his sisters in directorial roles, the company became vertically integrated with the start of denim fabric production. Since then, the company has been consolidating and has factories in Horizonte/CE, Natal/RN, Bezerros/PE, Chaco/Argentina, and Texas/United States, transforming itself into a multinational from Ceará. Santana Textiles holds a prominent position among industries in the textile sector and consolidates its expertise in the manufacturing and development of basic, differentiated, and innovative denim fabrics. The company has a presence throughout the Americas with one of the largest commercial teams, delivering the highest quality cotton yarns and denim fabric on the market.
