From Kundl to the world: our Austrian plant in the heart of Tyrol is the last fully integrated production facility for penicillins in the Western world. It was here that penicillins were first successfully produced in tablet form – a sensation that fundamentally revolutionized medicine. As a global market leader in generics and biosimilars, we continue this tradition. Today, we develop and produce over 4,000 tons of active ingredients annually and supply over 100 countries with more than 200 million packs. What drives us are our approximately 2700 employees from over 60 nations, who work with pioneering spirit to ensure that 9 million people in Austria and millions worldwide have access to vital antibiotics.
