Sandbox ABA

About Sandbox ABA

At Sandbox ABA, we’re more than a therapy center: we’re a community built on connection, creativity, and clinical excellence. Founded in 2012 in Austin, Texas, by Rebecca Ryan, a parent and professional driven to make ABA more personal and progressive, Sandbox has grown into a space where both children and team members can thrive. We specialize in naturalistic, play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism, and we do it with heart. As a BCBA-owned and operated practice, our leadership understands what it takes to support clinicians at every stage. Our BCBAs bring over 25 years of combined experience, and we’re passionate about mentoring the next generation of therapists from brand-new RBTs to seasoned behavior analysts. Why work at Sandbox? You’ll get hands-on support and daily learning opportunities, whether you're working side-by-side with your BCBA or observing a peer session. You’ll gain experience in a variety of settings—clinic, home, school, and community—so you can grow your skills and expand your impact. You’ll join a creative, kid-focused environment where ABA therapy is woven into art projects, outdoor play, storytelling, music, and exploration. You’ll have the space to think independently, work collaboratively, and show up as your full self because we believe the best therapy happens when people feel supported and valued. The work can be challenging—there are big feelings, busy days, and a lot of hats to wear. But it’s also meaningful, energizing, and deeply rewarding. You’ll watch kids make real progress, and you’ll be part of every step. Whether you’re just starting your career or looking for a workplace that feels more like home, Sandbox ABA could be the place you’ve been looking for. Come see what it’s like to work somewhere that’s as joyful as it is impactful.
