PT Samora Usaha Makmur, referred to as Samora Group, began its journey with the establishment of its first refined sugar plant in 2004 under the name PT Sentra Usahatama Jaya. To support its business development, the second refined sugar plant was established in 2011 under the name PT Andalan Manis Sejahtera. In 2012, the business expanded by establishing PT Medan Sugar Industry, the third refined sugar plant. Along with business progress and the need for synergy, Samora Group was established in 2013. For Samora Group, business is about more than profits. In 2016, PT Sukses Mantap Sejahtera was established to educate local farmers and improve the welfare of Indonesians.
