About Samara

Samara puts better homes within reach of more people. We design, build, and deliver homes across California, controlling the entire process in our own factory. That means thoughtful design, premium materials, and precision engineering in ways conventional builders can’t match, with fewer delays and more predictable timelines. Our homes include ADUs, single-family homes, and multifamily infill, creating better places to live for homeowners, homebuyers, and operators. Founded in 2016 as a research and innovation team within Airbnb, Samara is now an independent company backed by Airbnb, Thrive Capital, 8VC, and other leading investors, and is based in Redwood City, CA.
