About Salems Kommun

Salem Municipality is a modern suburban municipality with roots in the 12th century. As one of the smallest municipalities in Stockholm County, we have the advantage of proximity to the big city while the municipality can offer good family-friendly housing in beautiful nature. Good train connections to Stockholm city and proximity to the E4 make us "well located". By train or car, Stockholm city can be reached in about 30 minutes. Number of inhabitants: 17,000 We work hard in the municipality to achieve functioning work environment efforts, which in turn give employees the opportunity for influence and well-being. We have worked with collaboration agreements since 1994 and want to further develop this, as collaboration is a prerequisite for the employer's and employees' good cooperation.
