SEDAŞ, whose shares were acquired 100% by AKCEZ Enerji Yatırımları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., is responsible for the electricity distribution activities in the provinces of Sakarya, Kocaeli, Bolu, and Düzce as an affiliate of AKCEZ. On 12/01/2023, Cez a.s. transferred its shares within AKCEZ to Torunlar Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and Başkent Doğalgaz Dağıtım Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. Our company continues its operations under the umbrella of Akkök Holding, Torunlar Enerji, and Başkent Doğalgaz. SEDAŞ provides electricity distribution services 24/7 with a customer satisfaction approach to over 2 million customers across a surface area of 19,320 square kilometers within its distribution region. SEDAŞ's scope of activity includes making new distribution facilities and increasing capacity within the investment program for electricity distribution services, making additional facilities in the existing network, carrying out operation, maintenance, and repair work, evaluating connection applications, providing services by entering into connection agreements with electricity consumers, reading meter indices, carrying out lighting work, performing meter replacement and calibration operations in electricity distribution, combating technical and non-technical losses, and conducting work related to reducing electricity outages, energy interruption durations and numbers, and ensuring the continuity of electricity supply.
