About Safe-Hub Berlin

The Safe-Hub infrastructure consists of a multi-purpose building and flexibly usable small-field sports fields with high-quality artificial turf. The former creates space for holistic educational offers, and office and consulting rooms are also provided. The Safe-Hub infrastructure is intended for round-the-clock use. Therefore, it is available for both school sports and sports clubs. On the field, we implement the EduFootball training program, which focuses on imparting fair play values and social skills. In addition, we want to collaborate with youth facilities and partners who use our infrastructure to offer complementary leisure, educational, and consulting services. This allows for varied, coordinated activities to be implemented and a collective social impact to be achieved. Children and young people should not only be physically active in the Safe-Hub but also develop important skills that help them confidently and constructively overcome challenges in everyday life, at school, and in their later professional lives. Ideally, participants can also pass on the skills they have learned to the next generation – for example, by later taking on a leadership role themselves, such as a coach or in the management of the Safe-Hub. In addition to the construction project, we want to connect with our target group now. For this purpose, we have initiated various projects to give as many young people as possible access to our EduFootball concept and, on the other hand, to determine needs and evaluate our projects. This allows us to directly integrate and implement the projects into Safe-Hub operations upon completion of the infrastructure.
