São Martinho is considered one of the largest sugarcane-based bioenergy companies in Brazil, a benchmark in agro-industrial management within the Agribusiness sector, with an approximate capacity of crushing 24.5 million tons of sugarcane and 500 thousand tons of corn, both per harvest, with a 100% mechanized harvesting system. The Company invests in sustainable and modern agro-industrial practices with a focus on the energy transition for a low-carbon economy. With over 12,700 employees, it has four operating units: São Martinho, in Pradópolis, in the Ribeirão Preto region; Iracema, in Iracemápolis, in the Limeira region; Santa Cruz, located in Américo Brasiliense, all in the State of São Paulo, and Boa Vista, in Quirinópolis, 300 kilometers from Goiânia, in the State of Goiás. In addition to the Corporate Office, in the São Paulo capital, the company has a total of five administrative hubs: two outside its units, in the cities of Ribeirão Preto (SP) and Rio Verde (GO), and three other hubs within its units: at São Martinho, Santa Cruz, and Iracema. São Martinho is a global benchmark in the production of sugarcane and corn derivatives, including sugar, ethanol, bioenergy, yeast, and co-products such as DDGs and corn oil. All of its units generate electricity from burning sugarcane bagasse, ensuring self-sufficiency and sale of surplus. The Company has a differentiated logistics platform for product flow, due to its high storage capacity and proximity to important highways and railways. It is privileged to have its own road-rail transshipment terminal for sugar, with access via an exclusive railway branch, combining practicality and lower costs with real-time product flow. As a publicly traded company since 2007, it trades its shares on the Novo Mercado of B3, the highest corporate governance segment, under the ticker SMTO3.
