Rose Garden Nursing and Rehabilitation takes pride in the fact that our guiding philosophy is The Golden Rule. We affectionately refer to it as “The Rose Garden Way”. In fact, Rose Garden is, what was called in the past, a “mom and pop” business. That is, one single building, one single owner. The result for employees is empowerment. You are more important at Rose Garden than you would be in a company with fifteen buildings. Your opinion and work ethic are heard and seen. The owner, Andrew Shawn, became licensed as a nursing home administrator over 40 years ago and remains in charge today. Trish Groesch and Meaghan McDowell, our expert social work department, are currently our Associate Administrators in addition to their regular responsibilities. Dinaz Bengali, BSN, is our Director of Nursing and is a seasoned professional who has well over 25 years of experience in the long-term care setting. Ms. Bengali is a dedicated problem solver who remains calm, cool, and collected in the execution of her role as D.O.N. Her commitment, knowledge and dedication inspire her staff. Rose Garden is an integral part of the Toms River, NJ community. Our new facility opened in May 2005 and has often been referred to as “The Fine Hotel of Healthcare.” We are known for our devoted, highly professional staff, our vigilance to the needs of our guests and their families, and our unwavering commitment to providing the best care in the best environment.
