RODIM was founded in 1994 as a Salvadoran company, locating its production plant in Plan de La Laguna, Antiguo Cuscatlán – El Salvador, Central America. The vision of two Salvadoran entrepreneurs who decided to enter the pharmaceutical industry with a main objective: to manufacture and market human-use pharmaceutical products of the highest quality. Upon starting operations, maquila agreements were reached with international laboratories such as LYPHA SANTE of Lyon, France, Prodesfarma, S.A., and J. URIACH & CO of Spain, which led to significant technology transfer at the time.
