About Ritzenhoff Group GmbH

The heart of the family company RITZENHOFF still beats where its story began over 100 years ago: at the headquarters in Marsberg in the Sauerland region. With the wood from the dense forests of this area, the first glassworks already melted quartz sand into glass in the 18th century. The family company RITZENHOFF stands in this tradition, having developed over the years from a manufactory into one of the most renowned high-tech glassworks in Germany. The production and refinement of drinking glasses for the beverage industry remain the focus for RITZENHOFF Group GmbH. In addition to the production and trade of glasses for the brewery and mineral water industry, the distribution of products under the RITZENHOFF brand name to specialist retailers has established itself as a second pillar of the company. In this area, products under the RITZENHOFF brand name are distributed worldwide in over 100 countries. RITZENHOFF works closely with many internationally renowned designers. This brand has existed since 1992. The breakthrough on the design market was achieved by the "idea of the century" of the milk glass. Completely new success strategies emerged from an idea that led to new markets virtually creating themselves. The ingenious trick is to use the white of the milk as a canvas on which individual artists and designers showcase their ideas. They do not design new glasses, but rather decors for a fixed basic shape. The milk glasses were followed by colorfully decorated beer goblets, wheat beer glasses, beer mugs, schnapps, champagne, wine, and water glasses. Meanwhile, RITZENHOFF products can be bought in over 100 countries on Earth – and the trend is rising. Over 50 collections have been created, and the number of creatives we work with has risen to over 300, to name just a few figures.
