The tradition of hospital care in Del Norte goes back to 1907. Each year Rio Grande Hospital continues to add new equipment and services in a modern facility opened in 2004, newly renovated and expanded in 2018. We also have four community outpatient clinics, including our Monte Vista clinic which was opened in 2016. Surrounded by national forest and cultural and historical sites, enjoy endless outdoor activities, from hiking, biking and fishing to hunting and skiing all in the heart of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. If you enjoy getting to know your patients on a personal level, we’re interested in meeting with you. The clinics provide primary care for all ages, including pediatrics and obstetrics through 32 weeks. Practitioner clinical procedures are welcome.
