The Rijksvastgoedbedrijf realizes and manages its real estate portfolio for its users and uses buildings and land for the realization of economic and social added value based on policy objectives. The Rijksvastgoedbedrijf is the real estate organization of and for the Dutch central government and is part of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. We are responsible for the management and maintenance of the largest and most diverse real estate portfolio in the Netherlands. Our portfolio includes prisons, courthouses, barracks, airfields, defense sites, ministries, ports, tax offices, monuments, museums, and palaces. We make these buildings and sites available for the realization of central government objectives. Our expert employees formulate vision and policy and are responsible for management and maintenance, acquisition and sale, new construction, renovation, development, and redevelopment.
