About Resah

Resah is a public interest group (GIP) whose objective is to support the pooling and professionalization of purchasing in the health sector, both public and non-profit private. Founded in 2007 to support the pooling of hospital purchasing for the Ile-de-France region, Resah opened up access to its markets to the national territory in 2016 at the request of the DGOS. It has thus become one of the major operators in the sector. It collaborates with more than 2700 establishments in the health, medico-social, and social sectors in France and more than 1000 suppliers. Convinced that purchasing can support the performance of the health system, Resah acts through 2 complementary areas of activity: *A purchasing center covering the majority of establishments' needs and equipped with an innovation center through purchasing: • Amount of pooled purchases in 2023: 2.8 billion euros • 3700 beneficiaries • 12 purchasing families • 5700 contracts • 1000 suppliers *A resource and expertise center aimed at supporting the professionalization of purchasing and logistics teams through: • A responsible hospital buyer's desk • A training center aimed at developing the skills of purchasing and logistics teams • Publishing and information activities with the publication of guides and the management of the leading online journal dedicated to news in health purchasing and logistics: www.achat-logistique.info • Study and benchmarking groups to share best practices among peers. • Action at the European and international level to facilitate benchmarking, the sharing of best practices among public buyers, and innovative public health purchasing.
