The company Refrigerantes Convenção was founded in Itu by Primo Schincariol in the 1930s. The brand's origin was inspired by the Itu Republican Convention of 1873. In 1951, Mr. Victorio Guitti and his sons acquired Refrigerantes Convenção. In 1978, Mr. Geraldo's sons: Francisca, Carlos, Geraldo and Vitório, began their careers at the company, with Francisca and Carlos remaining to this day. In search of new opportunities, in 1983, Refrigerantes Convenção opened its manufacturing unit in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
