Åre kommun

About Åre kommun

Åre is one of Sweden's most famous tourist resorts. We at Åre Municipality create conditions so that everyone who lives or stays here can realize their dreams. We ensure that the obvious things work: that our children are well in school, that the roads are well-plowed, and that our elderly have a meaningful existence. But we don't stop there. Together, we are constantly taking new steps towards a sustainable future. Dynamism, service, and interaction are a given part of our everyday lives. In our magnificent mountain environment, expectant skiers coexist with down-to-earth life artists. There is room for you too.
