Raster Welzijn & Kinderopvang

About Raster Welzijn & Kinderopvang

Raster works on strong neighborhoods, resilient communities, and the best possible Deventer! Since 1989, and long before that as Stichting Sociaal Cultureel Werk Deventer and Stichting Wijkwerk, Raster's professionals and hundreds of volunteers have been committed to this. We believe in the talents of all residents, the power of social connection and collaboration, in neighborhoods where everyone can participate and feels valued. We find and experience that the connection between our childcare (Sam&ko) and welfare services contributes to stronger neighborhoods. Raster connects with residents from young to old. Literally in the neighborhood to make contacts and build trust, to be able to be of significance from there. We strengthen everything that is already present in terms of knowledge, skills, talents, passions, and resources in the Deventer neighborhoods, and connect it. This makes the social fabric that forms a community stronger, neighborhoods stronger, and communities more resilient.
