Raheja Universal Private Limited (RUPL), the flagship company of Mr. Suresh L Raheja and his sons, Mr. Rahul Raheja and Mr. Ashish Raheja, was incorporated in 1980. A leader in luxurious residential developments in Mumbai, the company is one of the most reputed names in the real estate industry, known for quality (ISO 90001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified), innovation, integrity, and commitment. To date, we have developed over 8.38 million square feet of real estate across 53 projects. Mr. Suresh Raheja founded K. Raheja Universal Private Limited in 1980 with an exclusive team of professionals who dared to dream with their eyes open. They envisioned a transformed Indian landscape. His sons Mr. Rahul Raheja and Mr. Ashish Raheja joined the company in the mid-1990s and helped transform the organization from a family enterprise to a corporate with over 400 professionals. During its formative years, the company concentrated on creating luxury residential structures to fill the need gap for quality and lifestyle living. With significant resources put into the core business, the company steadily expanded its portfolio to include the next big boom sub-segment: signature office towers and IT Parks. The company is currently in the midst of a transformational exercise, gearing up its next-generation platform-based strategy to build over 77 million square feet across residential, commercial (office, IT, Retail, Hospitality, etc.), and industrial asset classes, largely in the MMR region (Mumbai, Mumbai Suburbs, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan, etc.). RUPL was chosen as the “Selected Business Super Brand” in 2008, followed by “Selected Consumer Super Brand” in 2009-10 and 2011-12. Among various other awards won, RUPL was awarded the Top 10 Builder award at Construction World Architect & Builder awards in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2015 and ranked among the top builders through the last decade.
