About PT Sigma Research Indonesia

Sigma Research was founded in 2003 as the Research Division of PT. Bentala Piranti Global. The initial research project handled was as a research partner for Business Digest SWA Magazine, handling surveys for Microsoft Indonesia. The research partner for SWA Magazine's research continues to this day, including in ongoing telecommunications surveys such as Telkom Long Distance Division (2004-2006) and CIS Division (2006-2011). In 2005, it became a research partner for Polling Center Indonesia, which is heavily involved in studies and social research for domestic and foreign agencies, NGOs/CSOs. Then in 2007, it was requested by Pacific Rekanprima (founded by the Head of LM-FEUI as a partner) for the management consulting it runs. Then in 2009, it collaborated with DEKA Marketing Research to handle marketing consulting for Bank Mandiri for Priority outlets throughout Indonesia. To better focus on marketing research services, in 2008 PT. Sigma Research Indonesia was formally established separately from the parent company. And to strengthen the network of research institutions/agencies and individual researchers, as well as to continuously update knowledge in the field of marketing research, in 2007 Sigma Research became a member of MRGA and SSRN. MRGA (Marketing Research Global Alliance) is an association and network of institutions and researchers in the field of marketing research. It consists of research institutions, CEOs, and marketing research academics. Meanwhile, SSRN (Social Science Research Network) is a network of research institutions/agencies and individual researchers in the social field. It consists of renowned research institutions in America and Europe.
