LAM SENG HANG (LSH) began supplying the Indonesian market regularly in 1994 to meet the chemical needs of various industries, with materials initially supplied from our Singapore office. In the late 1990s, during the worsening Asian financial crisis, Indonesia adopted IMF reforms and opened up foreign investment opportunities. LSH seized this chance to invest in Indonesia and establish a branch office, PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia, to provide a local stock point and handle logistics. PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia was established as a PMA company in distribution and wholesale in August 2000. For strategic proximity to customers, the factory was set up in Jababeka Industrial Estate, Cikarang Bekasi, east of Jakarta with easy access to main highways. In 2004, PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia opened its first branch outside Jakarta in Surabaya, Indonesia's second-largest industrial city, offering the full range of products from the Jakarta stock point and also stocking products for local customers. By the end of 2009, before its tenth anniversary, PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia acquired a new office in the prime business district of Mega Kuningan in central South Jakarta. Located in the prestigious Cyber2 Tower, this expanded premise allowed for increased recruitment and future growth. The official opening was in April 2010. Since its establishment, PT Lam Seng Hang Indonesia has supported customers with its extensive chemical resources, competitive pricing, and prompt services. Today, the company offers over 100 items available ex-stock or on indent, serving diverse industries including cleaning, detergents, personal care, paint and coating, rubber and latex, electronics, and water treatment. A new business, TIRE DISTRIBUTION, was established in 2014 with PT LAM SENG HANG RESIN AND RUBBER INDONESIA, trading Chinese WESTLAKE tires under the G2 Group. We represent Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co., Ltd. (ZC-RUBBER), China's largest tire manufacturer, ranked No. 10 among the Top 75 Global Tyre Manufacturers in 2014. We continue to support our customers with extensive tire resources, competitive pricing, and prompt services. A new business, ESSENTIAL OILS, was established with PT AES NATURAL INGREDIENTS INDONESIA to enter the Essential Oils sector. A representative office was registered in Indonesia to facilitate this business plan, and a laboratory was set up for Research & Development to support the new Essential Oils business.
