Its first business was in the automotive sector (Cars, Motorcycles & Electric Generators) & Johnson (Speedboat Engines) as well as Spare Parts for the above Products. PT. Indako Trading Company then collaborated with Honda (Japan) & Johnson (Singapore). When PT. Astra International was appointed as the Sales Distributor for Honda in Indonesia in 1971, PT. Astra International appointed PT. Indako Trading Company as the Main Dealer for Honda motorcycles for the North Sumatra region. Also as the Main Dealer for Honda Spare Parts (Honda Genuine Parts) for the Sumatra & Aceh regions. Along with the company's development, PT. Indako Trading Company currently has a Honda sales network of 106 Dealers, 136 AHASS workshops & 414 Spare Part stores spread across North Sumatra & Aceh.
