PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG (IFG Life) was established on October 22, 2020. IFG Life is part of PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (Persero) (BPUI) as a subsidiary engaged in the life insurance sector. To expand BPUI's business coverage in fulfilling all insurance and guarantee needs in Indonesia, IFG Life is expected to become a large and sustainable company, especially in the life insurance sector. IFG Life stands as a protection insurance company (life and health) to complement and strengthen the BPUI ecosystem as an insurance and guarantee holding SOE which has a strategic position in the development of maximum, healthy, and comprehensive protection insurance products and services, based on good governance and strong and prudent risk management, as well as optimizing the use of technology to expand access to services so that protection services can be provided optimally to customers. IFG Life obtained operational permission from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on April 7, 2021.
