SYNTHRON is a subsidiary of PROTEX INTERNATIONAL, an independent French industrial Group, that develops, manufactures and markets chemical specialties in France and abroad to niche markets: Chemical Specialties, Building and Construction, Electronics, Surface Coatings– Paints, Inks and Varnishes, Textile and Leather, Paper. SYNTHRON has an industrial site in Auzouer-en-Touraine, 30km from Tours and a Research and Innovation Centre, where the products resulting from our research are manufactured. The presence of this Research and Innovation Centre on the production site is an undeniable advantage. R&D teams are organized by discipline and by market, and implement “cross-fertilisation”: an innovation that gives rise to a discovery is declined in other areas than that initially planned.
