P&G was founded over 180 years ago as a soap and candle company. Today we are one of the world's largest consumer companies, improving the daily lives of around 5 billion people in 180 countries through our brands. We have one of the most trusted portfolios of leading brands, including Pantene, Ariel, Head & Shoulders, Gillette, Oral-B, Always, Dolo-neurobión, Vick, and Sedalmerk, among others. P&G's history in Mexico began in 1948 as the company's first subsidiary in Latin America with the acquisition of a cooking oil factory. Over the following years, P&G introduced brands such as Ariel and Salvo to the Mexican market. Over time, P&G expanded its footprint in the country, becoming one of the most important production and export centers for the Company. Currently, we employ over 7,000 people distributed across 6 manufacturing plants, 2 distribution centers, 1 general office, 2 sales offices, and sales representatives in almost the entire country. Today, P&G is one of the most respected mass consumer goods companies in Mexico and our products are used in 99% of Mexican households.
