Procreate

About Procreate

We're dedicated to making exceptional creative tools for creative people — like you — by combining beautiful user experiences with high-performance engineering. Our illustration and animation apps consistently rank in the top-selling apps on the Apple App Store, garnering millions of passionate followers who appreciate intuitive and accessible tools. And we keep working to make them better through constant updates. In other words: We care about artists. We embrace the unknown. We’re playful with our work. We never stop at “good enough”. Procreate is the name of our company, but it's also the name of our successful digital art and illustration app for iPad. First released in 2011, Procreate has received two coveted Apple Design Awards and has been the number one best-selling paid iPad app on Apple's App Store for the past six years. Procreate Dreams, our animation and motion graphics app, was released in late 2023 to critical acclaim and instantly became one of the top paid apps on iPad. We also develop Procreate Pocket, named iPhone App of the Year in 2018, which regularly rates as the best-selling paid iPhone app worldwide. We're based in Hobart on the beautiful Australian island state of Tasmania. We're growing and hiring talented individuals who want to make their mark. This is just the beginning. We have big ambitions to create powerful and approachable products for more creative industries.
