About Primrose Family Care

Primrose Family Care is a residential family assessment centre providing safe, structured, and supportive placements for parents and their children. Our goal is to help families make informed, lasting changes that give them the best chance to stay together safely. We deliver clear, evidence-based parenting assessments grounded in the Department of Health’s Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families as well as specialised assessments like ParentAssess. Our approach is relationship-based and strengths-focused. Families are supported through individualised plans that combine practical help, emotional support, and multi-agency collaboration. We believe in co-production - working with social work teams and partner agencies and crucially with parents as partners in shaping their own progress. With a skilled team of social workers and family support staff, we provide consistent, compassionate care for parents while keeping children’s welfare at the centre of everything we do.
