About Prex

Our mission at Prex is to offer people democratized access to innovative and quality financial products in LATAM, through our APP linked to an international Mastercard card. We provide a transparent and efficient experience, promoting financial inclusion and cross-border payments, by offering a digital account and a Mastercard card completely free, with no maintenance, issuance, or renewal costs. With Prex, people can make local and international payments, money transfers, service payments, request personal loans, currency exchanges, access stock trading and investments without friction, and easily manage their personal finances. We empower global growth through our international partnerships with PayPal and Payoneer, allowing our users to sell their products and services anywhere in the world and collect directly into their Prex account. More than 50% of the population in LATAM is unbanked or underbanked, without access to quality financial products or credit. At Prex, we work to change this reality, helping to build credit histories and promoting financial inclusion throughout the region. We began operating in Uruguay in 2015, expanded to Argentina in 2019, launched operations in Peru in 2021, and in 2024, we arrived in Chile. Our APP is available in Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, and Chile.
