Praxis Doe-Het-Zelf Center

About Praxis Doe-Het-Zelf Center

Helping people to make things; we have been doing that since 1978. In that year we opened our first store in Venlo. Now we have grown into one of the largest DIY stores in the Netherlands. More than 98% of the Dutch population knows Praxis. We are proud of that! In 1997, we were the first DIY store in the Netherlands to open a Megastore. Since then, we have opened many more megastores, a large number of which also have a garden center. For small jobs, there is also Praxis City, located in the center of major cities. And we are not done yet! Praxis continues to open new stores. With more than 5,700 employees, we work hard every day to ensure that we help our customers with making things. Praxis is part of the Maxeda DIY Group. Maxeda DIY Group is the market leader in the DIY market in the Benelux with employees spread across Praxis, Brico, and Plan-it. All employees of Maxeda DIY Group have their own tasks and responsibilities. All of us, throughout the organization, work together according to our philosophy: Building the Best for our employees and our customers. A philosophy that places both customers and employees at the heart of the company and prioritizes teamwork and service. If you apply for a position at our head office, there is a very high chance that you will work for the various brands of Maxeda and not just for Praxis.
