MANY PROFESSIONS TOGETHER In the police, more than 16,000 employees work together to prevent and stop crime, so that Denmark is a safe and secure place to live and exist. We are all deeply committed and motivated to make a difference for other people and for society as a whole. The vast majority of the police's employees are trained at the Police Academy, but in addition, approximately 4,500 people with other professional backgrounds work every day on tasks within IT development, legal advice, press and communication, procurement of police equipment, crime prevention, cooperation with municipalities and organizations, personnel and education, forensics, and large investigative tasks. Here on the police's LinkedIn profile, we would like to give you an insight into the many tasks in the police that you do not hear about every day. What do the analyst and data scientist do in our investigative department, for example? How does our software developer or software architect ensure that the mobile app they develop meets the needs of the police colleagues on the street? How do our economists and lawyers handle large procurements of police equipment? How does the journalist participate in crisis management? What does the psychologist teach at the Police Academy? Follow us if you want to be informed about new vacancies in the police. We cannot possibly tell about all of them here on LinkedIn, so click on www.politi.dk/job-i-politiet for the full overview.
