Polenergia is the largest Polish private energy group consisting of vertically integrated companies operating in the areas of energy generation from renewable and low-emission sources, distribution and trading, and electricity sales to retail and business customers. It creates innovative solutions combining zero-emission system energy with prosumer energy. At the threshold of a huge transformation of the Polish energy market, Polenergia supports efforts related to the development of a low-emission economy, clean and renewable energy sources, as well as the EU's aspirations to achieve climate neutrality. The Group's mission is to strengthen its leadership position in changing the domestic energy market, which is leading Poland towards an energy mix based on clean and renewable energy sources. It was the first company to introduce the Energia 2051 standard to the market, compliant with the Green Deal guidelines that will not be in effect until 2051. A strategic project being implemented by Polenergia is the construction of wind farms in the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of 3000 MW. The Group is involved in the development of onshore wind farm projects, large-scale photovoltaic farms, and advanced gas technologies, which are a prelude to the great hydrogen transformation, for which the company wants to be fully prepared in the coming years. Polenergia, like its shareholders, not only focuses on economic development but is also guided by social responsibility for present and future generations. It is a partner of the largest global initiative of sustainable business – United Nations Global Compact and a signatory to the UNGC Ethical Standard. Since 2005, Polenergia shares have been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The newspaper Gazeta Giełdy i Inwestorów „Parkiet” honored Polenergia with the “Bull and Bear” award for the best sWIG80 index company in 2018.
