Pohlmans Nursery Pty Ltd

About Pohlmans Nursery Pty Ltd

A Pohlmans plant is not just grown – it is nurtured. The word nursery suggests small but as the largest independently-owned plant producer and nursery in Queensland located in the fertile Lockyer Valley region on 150 acres, 40 of which is devoted to intensive plant production, Pohlmans is anything but. First established in 1976 by John and Val Pohlman, the nursery is now operated by their first and second generations. Members of the Pohlmans family can be spotted throughout the nursery’s operations from the germination process to the sales team. Our Head Innovation Officer Rob Pohlman can be found implementing new technologies with an aim to improve the quality and efficiency of the nursery’s growing process. Our family philosophy supports our wider community, providing employment for over 185 people during the peak season. The Pohlmans family remain passionate about all things planting – from Val’s veggie garden and cooking to all things home landscaping. We admire the beauty of our products and the fond family memories they help create.
