On July 31, 2004, Juscelino Pereira inaugurated the Piselli Restaurant, marking his 35th birthday. The name "Piselli", which means "pea" in Italian, was not chosen randomly. During his adolescence, Juscelino decided to grow peas in Joanópolis, his hometown in the Serra da Mantiqueira region. This legume was chosen because it was not commonly found in the region and eventually became the starting point for his career as a farmer. Although the pea plantation was not successful due to the late harvest of the snow pea seeds, Juscelino did not give up. He moved to São Paulo and gained experience working in various restaurants, performing various roles, until he finally realized his dream of opening the Piselli Restaurant. The chosen name for the restaurant is a tribute to the legume that brought about a transformation in his life. Currently, Piselli Restaurant is a benchmark in Italian cuisine, with units in strategic locations. We have three units in São Paulo, one located at Shopping Iguatemi São Paulo, another in the Jardins Neighborhood, and the third in the Historic Center of São Paulo. Additionally, we have a unit in Brasília, at Shopping Iguatemi Brasília. Each of these units brings its unique differential, providing an authentic and engaging gastronomic experience.
